District Membership Assignment:  The district chair is asking all Rotarians to participate in this first assignment from the Membership summit: Ask two NON-ROTARIANS what they think they know about Rotary.  Do not try to recruit these persons.  The point of the assignment is to gather information about how people perceive Rotary.  Please forward responses to President Amy.

Todays Program
by Amelia Roll

Well, our scheduled speaker double booked and so we will have to hear from Mr. Andrews another time in the near future.  Sherry Wells jumped right in and filled our vacancy and gave a very interesting presentation on Esperanto - an international language.  It was developed by a young man in his teen years and is now known throughout the world.  Sherry handed out pamphlets to those in attendance, we took a short quiz, and we passed!  I'm sure that Sherry would be happy to forward a pamphlet to any of our members who were not in attendance and would like to learn more about Esperanto.
