Today's Program
by Amelia Roll

This evenings program was presented by Jack and Lori Grigg of Paradise Dog Training.  Sherry first met them at the Foundation Gala back in September, where they were showing off "Dexter", a therapy dog that is in part sponsored by the Dexter Rotary Club.

Lori and Jack operate a company that is focused on training facility dogs, assistance dogs and therapy dogs.  The dogs are placed in educational systems, hospitals and healthcare centers.  Lori has over 30 years of dog training experience and has acheived obedience training titles in competitive show trials.

Lori and Jack brought with them Ditto and Dexter, two of the service dogs that they have trained.  Ditto really showed her stuff by demonstrating all of the "tricks" she has learned including: alerting a person with hearing loss about noise and then leading them to that noise, sniffing out bed bugs, pushing an alarm that indicates the need for HELP and etc.

Awesome people, training dogs to do AWESOME things for people in need!
