Today's Program
by Amelia Roll

Tonight was our official visist with DG Janet McPeek.  Prior to the regular meeting, the board of directors meet with DG Janet to discuss our clubs projects, fundraisers, and our goals and objectives for the year.

Jerome prepared a wonderful meal and we had a very enjoyable time of fellowship with our many guests.  Tonight we invited family members of Mrs. Helen Butz to join us so that we could present them with a Paul Harris pin that was issued because of Helen's very generous gift to The Rotary Foundation.  Jill and Jim Crouchman remembered several of our members from the times they used to bring Helen to meetings or other Rotary events.  DG Janet did the presentation and really expressed sincere grattiude for the donation.

DG Janet then talked to our club about her Rotary journey and what Rotary means to her.  She also commended our club's good work in our community and also encouraged us to expand our horizons and keep pushing for a brighter future for Ferndale Rotary.
